Train tipped to win Celebrity MasterChef

Channel 10 producers have allowed Train the kitty, of Sydney, to appear on Celebrity MasterChef as a late wildcard entry. Train hopes her signature dish of steamed chicken liver will wow the judges and put offal back on Australian plates. "It's a pity the smell puts off so many cooks, '' said Train. Train said winning Indira Naidoo's Celebrity MasterChef apron in an online blog competition gave her the confidence to showcase her cooking skills to the nation. We wish Train all the best.

Winner of Indira's Celebrity MasterChef Apron Announced

Well the judge's verdict is in....
The winner of Indira's freshly laundered Celebrity MasterChef apron is.... (drum roll)....  Liz.
This was Liz's winning post....

I must admit, if I were to win the apron it would likely become a comfortable bed for our kitty, Train - not because we wouldn't wear it, more because she'd know how sought after it would be. She's good like that.  (October 5, 2009 8:49 PM )

Celebrity MasterChef repeated tonight at 7.30pm

For anyone who wants a second helping of Celebrity MasterChef, Channel 10 is repeating it tonight Friday 2 October at 7.30pm. Sadly I still lose in this version.

Celebrity MasterChef Episode 1- The Verdict

Well the wait is over. Last night I got to see the edited version of my MasterChef performance - and believe me the producers were very generous. I didn't look like the nervous klutz I was! Both Josh and Kirk were magnificent and really both deserved to go through to the semi-finals. Alas, there is always only one winner and I hope you all throw your support behind Kirk for the rest of the series. He is a really nice bloke.

Celebrity Masterchef

Well, it's official folks. I'm going to be one of the 18 contestants in the first Australian 'Celebrity Masterchef' series. Channel 10 has released the names of six of my fellow competitors. They are Olympic swimmer Eamon Sullivan, fashion designer Alex Perry, Fairfax journalist and ex-Wallaby Peter Fitzsimmons, The Biggest Loser trainer Michelle Bridges, children’s programme Hi-5 founder Kathleen de Leon and Queensland premier Anna Bligh. What an eclectic mix! Somehow I don't think I'll be looking this calm and relaxed when I'm in the Masterchef kitchen! The show goes to air from September 30. Watch and weep!!!!!!!
